The 1893 World's Fair in Chicago was created in an age when the world was still using outhouses and candles, and before cars, electricity, or modern construction equipment. 

It was built in less than 2 years on over 600 acres of land transformed into a dazzling city of massive, ornate, and sculpted buildings, gardens, canals, fountains, and electric lights.

Layout

​Everything was done with horses, hand tools, and human labor. There were no bulldozers, trucks, cranes, or concrete mixers.
 
There were more than 200 buildings, miles of roads and rail, lagoons, bridges, and electric systems.
 
Structures were said to have been made from a plaster-like material, "staff," a mixture of plaster, cement, and jute fibers over wood frames.

The Administration Building had a gold-covered dome that was 275 feet high and immense arches that rivaled the cathedrals of Europe.
 
The Manufacturers and Liberal Arts Building, the largest building in the world at the time, measured 1,687 feet in length and 787 feet in width. Its roof spanned 1.3 million square feet -- larger than 30 football fields -- all framed in iron and glass and built without modern cranes or power tools.
 
The Court of Honor was a sweeping plaza surrounded by grand neoclassical palaces reflected in lagoons, sculptures, and lit by thousands of electric lights.
 
The Electricity Building introduced millions to electric power, lights, and appliances for the first time. Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla both had exhibits there, showcasing rival current systems (DC vs. AC).

MATERIALS AND LOGISTICS
Bringing the necessary building materials by train and horse, much of it from far distant places, would have been a herculean task. Millions of parts and pounds were moved around on the site and inventoried. Thousands of workers and horses would have been required.
 
There are few pictures of actual construction from the ground up. Mostly just completed structures.
 
 
DEMOLISHED JUST WEEKS AFTER THE FAIR CLOSED
The fair ran for just six months and closed October 30, 1893.
 
Weeks after closing, demolition began. Many who later saw the ruins couldn't believe the buildings weren't ancient stone palaces.
 
Between 1851 and 1915, nearly every major Western city hosted a "world's exposition," featuring enormous "temporary" classical cities built in record time -- and almost all were demolished within a few years.
 
Chicago (1893), Paris (1889), Buffalo (1901), St. Louis (1904), San Francisco (1915) … each followed the same pattern.
 
The only major building still standing from the Chicago Fair is the 400,000 square foot Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, now called the Museum of Science and Industry. It is the only remaining building and is of stone and brick capable of lasting centuries.

OBVIOUS QUESTIONS UNANSWERED
Tens of thousands of classical sculptures, domes, and columns--as perfect as those of ancient Rome--are inexplicable. The architectural precision, perfect symmetry, and immensity of the "fair" suggest planning and tools beyond 19th-century technology.
 
The White City, as it was called, looked more beautiful, harmonious, and intelligent than most architecture since. It feels ancient and advanced. The hundreds of thousands who visited must have felt like they were on another planet.
 
The fairs coincided with the rise of the Rockefellers, Carnegies, and Morgans, who were shifting global focus to oil, steel, wired electricity, and finance -- profitable material and money systems that replaced any earlier emphasis on nature, and, evidently, free energy.
 
So, to many, it looks like an intentional rewriting of civilization's narrative -- from "inherited splendor" to "industrial progress."
 
 
ALTERNATIVE VIEW
If the core structures already existed -- remnants of an earlier civilization -- the "rapid construction" could have been resurfacing, ornamentation, and temporary facades added to ancient structures.
 
Visitors described them as stone palaces, not lightweight façades.
 
Workers reportedly said the walls were "solid and cold like real stone," and sound echoed like in cathedrals.
 
Some early photographs show workers not building up, but digging out -- as though structures were being unearthed rather than newly erected.
 
The same phenomenon appears in photos from other world's fairs, suggesting the "construction phase" was actually restoration or exposure of buried architecture.
 
This supports the "mud flood" or "Old World" hypothesis that a prior civilization's buildings were partly buried by catastrophe and later re-exposed under the guise of World Fair construction.
 
The classical, Greco-Roman style of the fair's buildings -- with perfect geometry, domes, arches, and proportions (incidentally, such architecture is found all over the world, not just in fairs) -- was out of step with American architecture of the 1800s, which was still largely wood-frame and frontier style.
 
 
WHY
This suggests coordination -- a systematic effort to erase traces of a prior, unified advanced civilization by presenting its architecture as a short-lived artistic spectacle, then destroying it.
 
Leaders and money interests in the late 1800s would not want people looking back to a more advanced time. It served the powerful to have the masses in awe of them and the portrayed rapid modern achievement.
 
The buildings seen in world fairs appear to have been made by free energy. Keely, Moray, Tesla's "wireless energy" work--lost funding and their patents vanished into corporate or military archives. Such energy sources could not be commercialized, so they had to disappear. Electro-magnetic experiments, atmospheric electricity studies, and ether-based physics would destroy industrially produced energy that could be controlled, metered, and sold to people.
 
Oil magnates such as Rockefeller and steel and railroad barons like Carnegie were shaping the U.S. economy. Their empires grew, in large part, because the fairs dramatized a future built on profitable electrification, internal-combustion engines, and petroleum.
 
The end result is economic selection, not necessarily an orchestrated historical fraud.
 
As always, follow the money.
 
The alternate history revealed in World Fairs and studies of "old world," "resets," "mud flood," "Tartaria," and "pyramids" shows an upside-down history--advanced before primitive.
 
History comes to us from the victors and those in control. So questioning is a good thing since truth, not belief and dependence, always ultimately matters to freedom and wellbeing.
