​Millions of people are on board with this sentiment, believing current events are moving the world toward fulfillment of biblical end-time prophecies.
 
 
AMERICA'S DESIGN
In large part, America was formed to escape the king of England, who was given god-power by the Church of England. Those not practicing this religion were fined, jailed, and sometimes killed.
 
The writers of the Constitution did not want a repeat of the government they fled from.
 
So, the very First Amendment to the United States Constitution says: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." Thomas Jefferson said the First Amendment built "a wall of separation between Church and State."
 
Although America is frequently said to be a Christian nation, the principal authors of the Constitution--Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Paine, Ethan Allen, James Madison--were not doctrinal Christians. They argued that the Creator is revealed through reason and the creation, not a man-made book.
 
 
REASON AND CONSTITUTION IGNORED
Despite the Constitutional restriction, some American politicians and presidents attempt to avoid it.
 
For example, today, Christian leaders in America have joined with Judaism leaders in Israel in wars against Islam leaders in the Middle East. It is the continuation of the religiously motivated 1500-year-old Muslim jihad and the 1000-year-old Christian Crusades. During those conflicts, Jews have fought both with and against Muslims.
 
These wars have always been about religious "holy" places, doctrinal beliefs, divine rights, and domination in the name of the respective gods.
 
 
THE BIBLE COMMON THREAD
Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are Abrahamic religions based on the Bible and related scriptures.
 
The Bible encourages, justifies, and commands warring and other atrocities:
 

• Killing unbelievers. (Deuteronomy 13; 2 Kings 10)

 

• Killing first born children ((Exodus 12; 14; Romans 9:17)

 

• Stoning to death children who disobey their parents and killing for picayune infractions, such as taking a census, burning incense, making an ointment, gathering sticks on the sabbath, not mutilating genitals, etc. (Exodus 21:17; 30:33; 31:14,15; 35:2 Deuteronomy 21:18-21; 1Chronicles 21; 2 Chronicles 26:19-; Numbers 15:32-36)

 

• Killing children if their parents don't obey (Numbers 14:33)

 

• Ripping open all the pregnant women (2 kings 15:16)

 

• Beheading innocent sons (2 Kings 6:28-)

 

• Genocide, sexism, and beating slaves (Genesis 19; 20; 28; 29; Exodus 21)

 

• The slaughter of entire cities, but taking captive the young virgin maidens (Deuteronomy 2:34; 3:6; 13; Judges 21; Numbers 31)

 
 
THE END IS NEAR DOCTRINE
All three Abrahamic religions have eschatological end-time hopes they find in the Bible and ancillary books. All have made date predictions of a time in which a savior will appear.
 
Christians expect Jesus, Muslims expect Mahdi and Jesus, Jews expect Mashiach.
 
For believers, wars and other dire human circumstances are welcomed since that will signal the return of a messiah and unimaginable benefits.
 
All of these messiahs have been no-shows for the predicted dates. Nevertheless, every time there is a significant crisis, Google searches for end times, rapture, tribulation, second coming, Armageddon, etc. explode.
 
This end-is-near hope was true even when America began. In response, Thomas Paine argued, "our own mind must be our own church," and anyone who values the Creator-given gift of reason will find "no comfort in nonsense like this."

THE AMERICA-ISRAEL TIE
The Israel lobby and organizations such as Christians United for Israel, influence American policy decisions about the Middle East.
 
Christians in America, including leaders, attempt to act on Bible verses that say:
 

• God will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel (Genesis 12:3)

 

• God chose the Jews "above all people that are upon the face of the earth" (Deuteronomy 7:6)

 

• God will set Israel "on high above all nations of the earth" (Deuteronomy 28:1)

 

• "all people of the earth shall see that thou (Israel) art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee" (Deuteronomy 28:10)

 

• Any nation "that will not serve thee (Israel) shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted" (Isaiah 60:12)

 

• "I will bless those who bless you. (Israel)" Genesis 12:3

 
 
WHAT CAN BE DONE
Those who willingly turn to religion are usually those of honest heart seeking goodness and direction. Since who we are, why we're here, and what we should or should not do are not easy questions, many people turn to religious texts. The Bible is a book claimed to be from the Creator with everything all figured out in black and white.
 
But that's the dependent and lazy way. Reason tells us that If the Creator wanted everyone on Earth from the beginning of time to know what they needed to do for "salvation," it would either be written into all brains, or inscribed perpetually in the sky in a language all can understand.
 
Answers could not be in a book that has no original copies, such as the Bible. Nor would scholars be needed to interpret it. Thomas Paine, an American Founding Father, wrote in The Age of Reason: "... the Bible decides nothing, because it decides any way, and every way, one chooses to make it."
 
The earliest evidence of a Christian Bible is this P52 fragment in Greek (approx. 2"x 3") dated hundreds of years after the reported time of Jesus. All versions of Bibles today are copies of edited copies, of edited copies, of edited copies ... Which one was/is the accurate word of the Creator, cannot be proven.

Only a tiny fraction of people on Earth have read the Bible. Of Those, even fewer understand it, and fewer than that agree on what it says.
 
Such uncertainties are not solved by belief and faith. Rigid belief systems lock minds, prevent people from questioning, and may contribute to conflict.
 
 
THE BEST HOLY BOOK
Arguably, creation is the ultimate holy book. It's rational, consistent, just, free, and in its full original form. No archeology or cave exploring is required to find ancient scrolls. It speaks a universal language requiring no words spoken or on papyrus. It is truth not subject to interpretation, editing, translation, or requiring specialized scholars. It is never lost, cannot be altered, edited, censored, or plagiarized.
 
Creation publishes itself from one end of the earth to the other and can be read and understood by everyone.
 
Our free will, reason, and conscience are also part of creation. Using those gifts, not beliefs, is the key to peace and happiness for each of us and the whole world.

Every day, we can see drivers weaving through lanes, tailgating, speeding, and honking, as if every car ahead is a personal injustice.
 
Often, they end up stopped at the next red light just like you.

There is an inherent risk of any transfusion from any donor.
 
It is, in effect, cannibalism. Just because it is euphemistically called a transfusion and wrapped up in a medical procedure does not change that fact.
 
Unlike eating blood or food containing it, a transfusion bypasses many safeguards the digestive tract and immune system affords.
 
Blood is unique to every person on Earth. Although it is typed to safeguard against some immune reactions, blood is antigenically unique, and not all antigens, microbes, parasites, toxins, or what have you, can be screened for.
 
Genetic COVID-19 vaccines use modified mRNA encoding the spike protein and lipid nanoparticles as the drug delivery system.

People often become atheists because they reject man-made religions and their gods. Confidence in atheism is bolstered by belief in abiogenesis (life can come from nonlife) and evolution.

REJECTION OF MAN-MADE RELIGIONS
Beliefs based purely on faith--such as man-made religions--can be reasonably rejected.

But that has no relevance to whether there is a Creator or not.
 
 
ATHEISM IS FAITH-BASED
The belief that no Creator exists cannot be demonstrated; like religious belief, it rests on faith.
 
 
ATHEISM IS A NEGATIVE THAT CANNOT BE PROVEN
Atheists must realize they are claiming a universal negative--"no Creator exists" anywhere, in any cave, forest, dimension, or any hiding place in the Universe. Such an omniscient claim, disguised as intellect and science, requires an impossible feat.
 
Great minds and true scientists don't claim universal negatives.
 
Courts don't.
 
Logic doesn't.
 
Evidence doesn't.
 
Searching and finding nothing doesn't prove nonexistence.
 
It only proves we looked somewhere, and we found nothing there.
 
 
POPPERIAN FALSIFIABILITY
Karl Popper, who defined the criteria for what counts as science, showed that a meaningful claim must be falsifiable. Courts, science, and reason place the burden of proof on the positive claimant.
 
People don't get to say there is NO something. They have to prove there IS something.
 
A negative universal claim--no Creator exists anywhere--is not falsifiable.
 
Therefore, atheism--the belief that there is no Creator--fails the test of falsifiability and the science appealed to.
 
 
A CREATOR IS LOGICAL
The claim that there IS a Creator is a positive claim that can be evaluated with a logical syllogism: a conclusion that necessarily results from two related premises:
 

1. Complex functional machinery requires intelligent causation.
2. Life and the rest of the natural world consist of complex functional machinery.
3. Therefore, life and the natural world require intelligent causation.

 
Both premises #1 and #2 are axioms, maxims, self-evident, and grounded in universally recognized experience.
 
Proof that premise #1 is true:

Proof that premise #2 is true:
 

• How molecules became machines
• Why We're Right to Call Them Molecular "Machines"

 
Therefore, #3 is a valid conclusion.
 
No syllogism exists for atheism

• There is no equivalent syllogism for: "No Creator exists."
• Atheists can't build one.
• This exposes their belief as not logic-based.

 
Machinery pervades nature
Atoms, molecules, biochemical pathways, cells, organs, and organisms are all complex functional machinery. The beat of our heart, every breath, blink of the eyes, digestion/assimilation of nutrients, reflex, neuronal impulse, and the levers, hinges, rotors, axles, balls, sockets, bearings, springs, chains, and linkages, permitting complex movement of our body are all complex machines in themselves, or parts of complex machines.

All the underlying machines in nature--from atoms to a beating heart--operate automatically. Their complexity exceeds human comprehension, as would the intelligence behind them.
​
Here is a glimpse of some of the biochemical machinery that is busy at work in our body every second of every day, moving at lightning speed.

Even one-celled organisms, such as bacteria, have complex machinery, such as a flagellum for locomotion.
