It's a requirement in most scientific publications that authors reveal financial ties they may have to the subject being studied. That's because it's a known fact that financial interests can influence, even obligate scientists in a way that could skew the results of the study. 

These days it's hard to find any scientific study that isn't paid for by or doesn't benefit a commercial interest.
 
Unfortunately, commercial interests can give grants to university scientists who then devise studies that give those commercial interests the results desired.
 
So, when we are told to "follow the science," meaning follow those who say they are following the science, we may be just following money.
 
Lazy People’s Sources of Information
 
Mainstream Media
Mainstream media consists of for-profit corporations beholding to their advertisers. Big Pharma pays about 5 billion annually to them. That skews everything the media says concerning health and drugs. Don't expect much news there about how drugs and vaccines injure and kill or how non-pharmaceutical approaches may be beneficial
 
Doctors and Hospitals

Those facts don't justify putting trust in them or the information they promulgate.

Medical Industries
Medical industries supplying tests, masks, ventilators, oxygen, gloves, drugs, and so on benefit billions from fear and disease, not health and freedom. This is not to mention the bias created by the fact that covid vaccines are on pace to be the world's top-selling drugs. Such vested interests don't justify trust in the information they advertise.

Government
Politicians are beholding to big corporate medical donors who help them get elected.

The NIH grants licenses to the private sector that in turn sends royalties back to the NIH. Anthony Fauci, the NIH, and CDC own royalty rights to hundreds of vaccine patents, including those related to the m-RNA vaccines.
 
Government dolling out licenses and patents driving royalties back to individuals in government is fertile ground for graft, corruption, and self-serving propaganda, not truthful information.

Cheap Solutions Left in the Dust
All of the above explains why non-patentable, or off-patent, cheap preventatives and treatments like vitamins, minerals, Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, and peroxide are ignored or maligned by all the interests profiting from drugs, vaccines, and medical interventions spawned by covid fear, misinformation, and censoring.

Citizen Journalists to the Rescue
Since the number one killer, modern for-profit medicine can't be trusted, the pharmaceutical industry bathed in money can't be trusted, the media and bureaucrats awash in pharmaceutical dollars can't be trusted, and politicians chasing big corporate donors can't be trusted, where do we turn for a chance at the truth?
 
Like all other things worth having in life, effort is required beyond what is being spoon-fed to us by those chasing money and power.
