If the Earth is spinning, orbiting, and spiraling through the universe at 2.8 million mph as the big bang cosmology claims, then that should be obvious to us passengers.
 
However.

STARS AND PLANETS
Stars and planets are in the same positions today, year to year, as they have been as far back as history has records.
 
They are the world's most accurate time piece. Take a picture of the night sky, note the day and time, do the same thing one year from that date and both pictures will match perfectly.
 
Polaris, the north star, is directly above Earth's north pole.  It remains fixed while the other stars rotate around it staying in their relative positions to one another.

It's impossible to imagine how the stars could stay fixed in their positions as earth spirals and spins through the universe at 2.8 million mph. If we can't imagine it, do we just believe an authority figure who just tells us it is so?

TELESCOPE FOUNDATIONS​
Telescopes need to be fixed on solid bases to prevent even the tiniest movement in order to see details in the sky. (source) But that would be useless if the earth underneath moves in multiple directions at millions of miles per hour.

NAVIGATION INSTRUMENTS REQUIRE A NONMOVING EARTH
Astronomers, astrologers, and mariners for thousands of years have depended upon the constancy of the celestial objects.
 
Sundials thousands of years old still tell the correct time. Such constancy would not be possible with the earth and sun moving in multiple directions at millions of mph.

​The Astrolabe, functional to this day, was invented hundreds of years BC. It's like an analog computer reading star, moon, and sun positions, their movement, latitude, and time. (source) It has only worked for thousands of years because Earth has remained still and the heavens constant.

The sextant measures the angle a star, planet, sun, or moon makes at the visible horizon. As a navigation device, it allows users to determine their latitude to within a sea mile or two. That is only possible if the Earth is still and the heavens are constant.

The constancy of the heavens would not be possible with the Earth spinning, rotating, and spiraling through the universe at 2.8 million mph. The fact that the celestial bodies are constant relative to us on Earth proves the Earth is stationary.
