SUN
The sun is said to be a star 93 million miles away from us with a diameter is 865,000 miles compared to the Earth's diameter of about 8,000 miles.

​The light from the sun does not have the same spectrum as stars Polaris, the North Star, is visible with the naked eye from Earth and said to be 433 light years away. Given that we cannot perceive car headlights from over two miles away, it would be impossible to perceive the light coming from 433 light years away.
 
So the stars, and the Sun as will be shown, must be much much closer that we are told.
 
Sun Rays
Given the putative distance between Earth and Sun and the relative sizes, the rays reaching Earth are said to be horizontal.

This, combined with the tilt of the Earth, supposedly results in the seasons on Earth.

However, comparing the relative sizes of Earth and Sun and the distance reported as between them, a mere tilt of the Earth would not make any difference whatsoever in the temperature of Earth.

​If the rays from the sun are triangulated back to the source, the sun (and moon) would be 32 miles in diameter and only three thousand miles away.

​Plane Shadows
With horizontal sun rays, planes above the clouds should cast a shadow on the clouds mimicking the size of the plane. The shadow should not be larger as would be the case if the sun is small, close, and its rays diverging.

​Those who disagree say these phenomena are due to the rounded atmosphere expanding the shadows.
 
If there is a round atmosphere that adheres to the Earth's round shape, that would cause the rays to converge toward Earth and make the plane look smaller, not bigger.

​A Near Sun Creates a Hot Spot on Earth
 
DogCamSport launched a balloon with camera to 110,000 ft. The sun's hot spot on Earth is totally inconsistent with a sun 93 million miles away with only parallel rays reaching Earth.

​This observation fits a local sun that is circling Earth rather than an Earth circling the sun with millions of miles between them.

​How a Large and Distant Sun Is Determined
Standard cosmology is based on calculations using parallax related to assumptions about the Earth's movement, the moon, and Venus. Those assumptions have not been proven true and thus the sun and moon measurements can only be considered assumptions.
 
Radio telescopes are also used to determine distances but the medium being transmitted through obscures the transmissions in unknown ways resulting in uncertain conclusions.
 
Size
If the sun is 93 million miles away, its size should not change as we view it during the course of the day.
 
But it's size does change which indicates it is close and changes in size due to perspective.
 
The reality of perspective is what we learn in elementary art classes and what we see all the time in our world. Things far away just get diminutively small; they don't actually disappear.

From our perspective, when the sun sets it appears to sink below the horizon, However, when magnified the sun never actually does this.

​Solar Eclipse
A solar eclipse only happens during a new moon when the moon cannot be seen because the Sun, Moon, and Earth are in alignment.
 
This is said to cause a moon shadow on earth.

During a solar eclipse, the moon obliterates the sun even though the sun is claimed to be 400X bigger.
​
That means the sun is either 400X further away (an unlikely coincidence) or the sun and moon are close to the same size.
 
To try to account for this, proponents of standard cosmology say the rays from the sun come to Earth diagonally.

​So, to explain seasons they say the sun's parallel rays hit a tilting Earth. To Explain sun and moon size contradictions during an eclipse, they say the sun's rays come to Earth diagonally.
 
The solar eclipse umbra--when the sun is totally blocked by the moon-- creates a shadow of the moon on Earth of about 1000 miles in diameter. That's about 1200 miles smaller in diameter than what the claimed size of the moon is.
 
Mass and Gravity
The sun is said to be 4.5x10⁹ years old, weigh about 4x10³⁰ lbs., and lose about 400000000000000 lbs. of mass each year.
 
That means it has lost about 1800000000000000000000000 (18x10²³) lbs. of mass so far.

​The solar system is said to move and hold together in a very precise way under the force of gravity exerted primarily by the sun. Since gravity is a function of mass, the sun's loss of that much mass would not permit the continuing precision we see.
 
Particularly would this be true given that gravity is proven to be the weakest of all physical forces.
 
 
MOON
Small
The moon is said to be about 250,000 miles away from Earth and 2200 miles in diameter.
 
However, the moon only illuminates a small circle of clouds. That suggests it is much closer.

​Moreover, the moon appears to be about the same size as the sun when viewed from Earth. This suggests that they are both about the same distance from Earth.

At some times it's possible to see the sky through the moon.

​Lunar Eclipse
A Lunar eclipse is supposedly due to Earth moving between the sun and the moon.

​However, somewhere on Earth during every lunar eclipse, both the sun and moon are near or above Earth's horizon. This is called a selenelion. If both the sun and moon are visible at the same time, then the Earth cannot be between them to cast a shadow on the moon.

This is explained away by refraction causing bending of the images of the sun and moon. No proof of such an amount of bending is possible since it would require light bending almost around the whole globe.
 
Moreover, such refraction would require the same distortion for all heavenly bodies. But that cannot be the case because the stars, for example, are perfectly predictable and consistent year after year with no factoring for refraction and have been for the thousands of years astronomical records have been kept.

►The Earth is said to be traveling at about 1000 miles per minute. The moon at 189 miles per minute.
​
That does not comport with moon eclipses lasting 3.5 hours and even longer.
 
Moon Phases
The phases of the moon should reverse summer to winter as the Earth supposedly rotates around the sun. But the phases remain the same year round.

Tychos Crator
The Tycho crater on the moon has a diameter of 53 miles and is visible with the naked eye from Earth. But would mean we can see something that small from 250,000 miles away.

​Go to Google earth and zoom out 300-400 miles on the East Coast. Rhode Island will appear to be about the same size as the Tycho crater.

So it's impossible to see something the size of Rhode Island from 250,000 miles away.

​The fact that Rhode Island can be seen as the same approximate size as Tychos from 300-400 miles away suggests that the moon is much closer to the Earth than 250,000 miles.
 
 
Tides
The moon is said to cause a gravitational pull on Earth's water creating tides.
 
However--
 
-Inland water does not have tides.
 
-There is no relationship between the position of the moon and tides.

​- There is no proven gravitational force that could cause tides.
 
-If the moon is strong enough to lift oceans, then we should weigh less during high tides. But we don't.

- Moreover, if the moon's gravitational pull is strong enough to lift oceans, then it would also prevent rain from falling. But that's not what happens.

Moon As Sun Reflector
The light from the moon is said to be a reflection of the sun. However, if this is what the surface of the moon is, it will not reflect sunlight any more than the dirt in our backyards will.

Moon and Space Temperatures Incompatible With Man and Machine
If the moon reflects the Sun's light, as commonly thought, these problems arise.
 
The moon is said to be +250 F in the sun and -208 at night. Space can be as cold as -500 F.
 
These extremes are not compatible with human survival.
 
If the human body reaches a temperature of +118 F, enzymes necessary for life are inactivated.

​Cold is even more lethal. On Earth, cold takes 20 times more lives than extreme heat.
 
If body temperature falls to +95 F, from the normal +98.6 F, the function of vital organs such as the brain and heart fails.

​Not one experiment on Earth has been done to prove humans or spacecraft can survive such temperature extremes.
 
But that's not the whole story.
 
Luminosity
The intensity of moonlight obeys the inverse square law. This means light is diminished or increased based on the square of the distance from the source: light 100 ft away from a source is 100x100= 10,000 times weaker than the source. In the converse, light at its source is 10,000 times stronger than at 100ft.

The Moon, said to be 250,000 miles away from Earth, produces enough light for book reading. This luminosity is 400,000 times fainter than the sun's luminosity on Earth of about 10²⁸ watts (rounding to 10 to a power in these calculations for simplicity). That would make the moon's luminosity on Earth about 10²³ watts.
 
So, if the luminosity of the moon on Earth is 10²³ watts, its luminosity near the moon's surface would be 250,000 miles² (= about 10¹¹), times the 10²³ watts, or about 10³⁴ watts.
 
That means the moon's luminosity near its surface is about one million (10⁶) times greater than what we experience from the sun on Earth.
 
Luminosity watts is a measure of electromagnetic radiation and heat. So, imagine a light bulb of 10³⁴ = 10000000000000000000000000000000000 (an unpronounceable number) watts.
 
That's what's supposedly near the moon's surface if it is 250,000 miles away from Earth. And that's what spacecraft and men on their way to the moon would need to be able to withstand.
 
The human eye can tolerate 100,000 lumen watts briefly before experiencing irreversible damage.
 
A 150 watt bulb can radiate 250° F of heat. 10³⁴ watts near the moon would be about 20000000000000000000000000000000000° F.
 
Nothing can survive that temperature, including humans and their spaceships on their way to the moon.
 
If the above is correct (and I cannot be sure without someone better than me checking the figures), then the moon simply cannot be as far away as we are told.
 
 
PLANETS
Planets we see in the sky are also said to be reflectors of sun light.
 
But there is nothing about Earth and its rocky neighbors, Mercury, Venus, and Mars, that would cause them to be luminous.
 
For that matter, the planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are said to also reflect the sun's light. But these are supposedly gas planets and would hardly be capable of receiving and reflecting light over billions of miles.
​

We have all been brainwashed into a cosmology/cosmogony belief that does not hold up to scrutiny.
